November 15, 2007   Page A8 Church announces upcoming events     The First Church of God, 1313 Marshall St. in Allegan, has announced updoming events.   All events are open to the community.     Joanne Hendrick, a short term missionary, will speak about her experiences in the Philippines Sunday, November 18th, during the 10 a.m. worship service.   Hendrick is the newly appointed volunteer representive of Southwestern Michigan for the Church of God sponsored program, Child of Promise.     The church will also host a Harvest Celebration Sunday, November 18th beginning at 7 p.m.   It's going to be an old fashioned, foot stomping gospel sing in country attire.     Through God's Allegan Kitchen, one of the church's ministry programs, the 4th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day from Noon to 3 p.m.   There is no charge and everyone is invited to share a traditional holiday feast.     For more information, call (269) 673-4302 Allegan First Church of God is located at 1313 Marshall St. in Allegan.   You may contact the church at (269) 673-4302 or stop by the church's Ministry Center for information about any of the things we are doing to make a positive difference.
