Habitat benefits from church fundraiser
Although Allegan First Church of God is busy raising money to begin the first phase of its building program, it isn't too busy to lend a helping hand to other organizations.
Recently the building committee decided to dedicate one of its "last-Friday-evening-of-the-month-fundraising-dinners" per quarter to a local mission project that is not in its 2007 missions budget.
The first quarter dinner in March was designated for Habitat for Humanity's Allegan County Chapter. It raised $302.
On Friday, June 29th, the church will dedicate all proceeds to Wings of Hope Hospice. The public is invited.
