Children attending Allegan First Church of God's Fiesta Vacation Bible School will be giving something precious to needy children in Latin America through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid.   As part of the program, the children will provide special "Jesus Loves Me" blankets and Spanish Bible books.

"Operation Kid-to-Kid will show kids that with God's help, they can impact their world." said a press release from the church.

Small groups of children, called Fiesta Crews, will work together to create warm blankets and then ship them to the International Bible Society, which will distribute them to children in countries such as: Columbia, Guatemala and Ecuador.   According to the press release, the program has allowed more than 1 million children in North America to send hundreds of thousands of hygiene items, Spanish Bible materials and shoes & socks to children around the world.

The Vacation Bible School will run June 26-30.   Registration opens each day at 5:30 p.m. and classes and activities run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for children age 3 through fourth-graders.
