Allegan County News - Allegan, Michigan. . . June 15, 2006   Page 7 ![]()     Allegan First Church of God recently erected a tent outside its front door to accomodate an increase in its congregation.   Pastor Don Hendrick said the tent is a means to temporarily increase the church's lobby.     "When the first phase of our building program comes on line in late 2007, the present lobby will be expanded to just over twice its present size," he said.   "Thanks to some creativity on the part of the church's leadership, the idea of enlarging the lobby by going out to the front lawn was coupled with the idea of providing a coffee service."     He said those wishing to enjoy a cup of coffee on Sunday morning may pick one up from 9:30 to 9:55 a.m. or for up to a half-hour after service.     He said funding for the church's annex came from some friends of the church who recently served on two mission trips to Pass Christian, Mississippi with the Allegan First Church of God Disaster Recovery Mission Team.
