Dec 21, 2005   Page 5 Giving Thanks     The First Church of God in Allegan opened their doors and hearts to residents on Thursday, Nov 24 for a Community Thanksgiving Dinner.   Church members, with donations from Big Top Grocery Store and Meijer in Plainwell, prepared a meal for over 70 people.   Immanuel Lutheran Church in Allegan also provided pies.   Food was also taken to 17 other individuals who couldn't make it to the church.   The First Church of God also sponsors a soup kitchen every Monday at 6 p.m.   Pictured at the dinner (from left to right) are sisters Susanne and Angel Rider.
